We attach a summary of the presentation
Chile has been making decisive progress in incorporating more renewable energies into its electricity matrix. In 2020, the goal of 20% of NCRE was met, which was planned for 2025 and this year there are more than 6,000 MW under construction. The foregoing, together with the announcements of the scheduled closure of several coal-fired plants, suggest that very soon we will have a low-emission electricity matrix.
The objective of this presentation is, on the one hand, to show the progress that Chile has experienced in the development of NCRE and, on the other, to identify the new technological and regulatory challenges that we will face.
